Help Cindy with financial hardship after accident

My name is Leeann Billock, I’m Cindy’s Coman Liddle's Cousin. I started this Go Fund Me page, because Cindy experienced a horrible fall in her home.

 

Sunday 8-29-21, She was in her attic, when she accidentally stepped on a weak spot of the attic floor, plunging her 12 feet onto the concrete garage floor.

 

She landed on her mid back, where her 15 year old daughter found her. Cindy's ankle was extremely swollen and was turned in the wrong direction. Her daughter, Julia called 911. The EMT had to reduce her ankle in her garage as there was no blood flow to her toes. Cindy was then taken to her local hospital as a trauma patient. 

 

She ended up breaking her tibia almost completely in half, and has 3 compression fractures in her back, T7, T12 and L2. She is still currently being treated in the hospital and is currently in the acute rehabilitation wing. She will need another surgery to remove the external fixator that is on the outside of her leg, which will then be replaced with rods and screws placed on the inside of the leg. She will continue to not be able to put any weight on her left foot for a minimum of 6-8 weeks, along with continued physical and occupational therapy and many months of healing.

 

Unfortunately, she was already off work with a lower back injury, leaving her with zero income over the past several months.

 

Cindy is a hard worker, who is always working to maintain the home that her and Julia share, along with all the endless tasks that come with having a home and a child. She is always the first to help others whenever she can. From taking care of both of her parents until their passing, to cooking, cleaning, hosting and supporting numerous family members through many difficult times over the years. Cindy truly needs our help as she faces multiple months of being off work, physical therapy, medical bills and everyday necessities.

 

It is only Cindy and her 15 year old daughter. Julia will be in school and it will be tough as Cindy learns to maneuver getting along day to day with her limitations and very limited help.

 

So I’m asking to please donate to her gofundme, and help ease the worry of how she is going to financially take care of herself and her daughter in the next several months. She does also have a Venmo account under Cindy Liddle.
