Help Cindy Fight Stage 4 Lung Cancer

This gofundme is being set up for my mom, Cindy, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has already spread to her bones and other vital organs. After multiple doctor visits the last several months it was somehow missed which has left our family in complete disbelief and shock. If you know Cindy then you know she is an extremely optimistic and warm-hearted person. She has always been the type of mom to put her children before herself without hesitation. There were times when she would work up to three jobs at one time to help our family get by and never once complained about it. As children my siblings and I watched her open our front door to anyone in need. She would make safe spaces for others experiencing difficult home lives, like hers growing up, to give them a place to find stability and learn to embrace the brighter sides of life. Her strength and soft heart have always been admired and felt by everybody who surrounds her. As expected, this situation has completely changed her life so now we're asking for help from family, friends, or anyone in the community who wants to help my mom have an optimistic quality of life while she undergoes aggressive chemotherapy and radiation. She gave her whole life to working in the medical field and helping others, and now we'd like to come together to try and give back to her.

All funds donated go DIRECTLY to my mom. Her insurance, UHC, is refusing to help pay for chemotherapy or transportation. These funds will help with paying for doctors visits, medications, transportation to the cancer center, and miscellaneous costs involved in her treatment.
