Her car was demolished, and she had to be extracted with the jaws of life. She is now in a medically induced coma after two surgeries, with another scheduled, and is fighting for her life. Cindy's injuries are both life-threatening and life-changing, and her road to recovery will be long and difficult.

Cindy lives with her husband, David, their children, and both her parents. She is the rock of the family—taking care of everyone, managing appointments, planning, and finances, all while working full time. David works two jobs to support the family, but now both of them are unable to work as they focus on Cindy's recovery. With no income until insurance or disability payments come through, the family will be facing mounting bills and uncertainty fast.
