Friday 11-07-25 Update on Miss Cindy’s recovery journey: Cindy is rehabbing at Mission Hospital and in good spirits. She will be there for another 10 days. After those 10 days, she will be coming home to stay with Evan (her son) and his family. She will be with them until she is healed. We are hoping that by Christmas, Miss Cindy will be independently mobile. So she may be able to return to her home and smell that salt air! Thank you again to all those who have donated . We appreciate your support and kindness.

Hello, my name is Yvett Robles, and I’ve created this page on behalf of my mother-in-law, Cindy Jones. On Sunday, November 2nd, Miss Cindy was involved in an unfortunate accident. Cindy was working around our backyard and her foot caught on our tortoise's fence around his pen. She fell down hard, resulting in a broken elbow and knee.

For all those who know Miss Cindy, you know that she is a busy bee. She works hard at work (which has her on her feet every shift). She helps her elderly neighbors with chores and other tasks. If you ever see Cindy, she probably has 2 grandchildren out of her 5 with her, going to the beach or riding bikes or whatever is on the agenda for a fun day. Miss Cindy loves to cook and take care of us all. If you asked for the shirt off her back, she’d give you hers and 5 more that she got at a thrift store. So to have the doctor say that she will be immobile for 6 to 8 weeks is unfathomable for our busy bee. She will be unable to work during those 6 to 8 weeks.

Therefore, we are asking for any donation, big or small, to help Cindy with bills and any expenses that may come up, so she may experience tranquility during this time of recovery. Any amount you’re willing to contribute is so greatly appreciated. If you aren’t able to contribute money at this time, a share with your friends and family would mean the world to Miss Cindy.

  • Thank you on behalf of the Rodelius and Jones family.
