I'm Cindy's husband, and my wife always puts everyone before herself.

Now she needs help. She just had her 66th birthday.

Lord willing, she'll make it to her next birthday. She needs a lung transplant, which is one of the most expensive surgeries there is. We all know insurance is not what it used to be.

The out-of-pocket expenses can be overwhelming for procedures that cost six or even seven figures. It sounds cliche, but for the price of a cup of coffee, you can help my family save our angel. We are going to be starting testing for the lung transplant, which will be 2 weeks' worth of tests. That alone will be costly. Asking for help is embarrassing, but if it helps get my Cindy back to the woman I hired in 1996 to take care of my son with cerebral palsy, it's worth it. After a year of her taking care of my son and her two young sons who came along with her, I could see the caring and loving person she is. It was easy to fall in love with her. We just had our 25th wedding anniversary. Between Cindy and I, we have 6 kids, 10 grandkids, and number 11 on the way.

Please help our family keep the best part of our family get healthy. There have been too many events already missed. We need her to be here for graduations, weddings, christenings, and anything else we can celebrate as a family.
