Help Cindy Fight Stage 3 Lung Cancer

Hey everyone, I am Cindy’s daughter and she was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer almost two months ago and we are really struggling financially. Her treatment plan requires her to do radiation 5 days a week and chemotherapy once a week. We have to get downtown and back home for each visit on top of many other appointments as well. We don’t have transportation and I have had six different mobile mechanics come and try to work on the car and no one can figure out what is causing the problem. Something is draining the battery and it’s not the alternator or the battery. I’ve also had a lot of other people, friends, family, neighbors and strangers try and figure it out and no one can figure it out. Each trip one way to the hospital for treatment ranges from $25-$45 depending on the time of day or availability of drivers. I have reached out to churches, the American cancer society and many other resources to try and get help and we have had no luck. We also need Ubers to go to the grocery store and the pharmacy for food and medicine. I broke my spine almost 2 years ago and haven’t been able to work, I am filling out applications all the time trying to get a job, I know I have a lot of physical issues that are making it very hard for me to find work and no transportation doesn’t help either. My mama my whole life helped anyone who ever needed help, wether it was a place to stay or to go to court with you to support you or whatever the need was, she didn’t hesitate to help, she lost my dad from cancer back in 1994, he was just 48 and she was only 40, 8 years later she lost my brother Justin in a motorcycle crash and in 2015 she lost my brother Jeremy from a heroin overdose. She has always been there and done for others my whole life and I know it hurts her to be in this situation and us having to ask for help and all those people she was there for are no where to be found now. I love my mama more then words can describe and I’m doing everything in my power to help. I can’t begin to imagine my life without her in it and seeing her struggle, in pain and scared is just breaking my heart. I am her care taker and feel that I’m failing her by not being able to take care of the financial burden. We really need help and wouldn’t ask anyone for anything if we had any other way. We really and truly are desperate and don’t know what we are going to do. Anything will help and be more appreciated then you could begin to understand. Please please help. I’m not going to stop trying to do whatever is in my power to do to help this amazing woman who has given and done so much for so many!! So I am begging you to help in anyway you can and I believe and am trusting that God is going to make a way! I pray to have my mama around for many more years but I know the stress is taking a big toll on her and her health so please find it in your hearts to give something no matter how big or small and please pray for her to be healed and this cancer to be gone and let us get to have this amazing, loving, giving, caring woman here with us please in Jesus name I pray.
