I am a 64 year old woman on a very small pension. On December 15th I had a small split on my pinkie from chapped hands. A bump formed and then grew into what I thought was an abcess. On January 9th I went to the urgent care to have the abcess drained only to be told it was a skin cancer.  Two weeks later I was at the dermatologist who removed a large biopsy. The results were ka squamous cell carcinoma.  I was then scheduled for mohs surgery and the tissue removed was so extensive, the wound went to the bone and tendons.  I now have to have a hand surgeon reconstruct the tissue with an Integra implant so blood vessels can grow into it. A skin graft cannot survive on the tissue that remains.  I will have my fingers splinted together for 4 weeks while the tissue takes, then a skin graft with 4 weeks of splinting again. Until the surgeries and after I have to keep the site clean and dry and uninfected or I will lose the finger.
I am in the process of getting rid of the last of my small animals at the farm I live on because I can't afford to infect or injure the wound. This grieves me but I know our Lord has plans for me to bless and not harm me. 
I pray the Lord will lead you to help with my expenses and to pray for me as well. I now have a lesion growing on my right hand that I will see the dermatologist for next week.  I'm hopeful this will be stopped in time.
