Help a Dedicated School Secretary Get a New Car

Hello, wonderful community!

We are reaching out today to ask for your help in supporting an incredible woman who has dedicated her life to serving others - Cindy Fernandez - the heart and soul of Veterans Elementary School.

For over 20 years, Cindy has been a fixture at Veterans as a teacher’s aide, clerk, and secretary. She’s been a mentor, a friend, and a constant source of support for students, teachers, and parents alike. Whether it’s helping with paperwork, organizing events, or simply offering a kind word, she’s always there, going above and beyond to ensure everyone’s needs are met. In addition to working at Veterans, Cindy also works a second job on the weekends and after school. Her caring nature and tireless work ethic have made her an irreplaceable part of our school community.

Beyond her unwavering commitment to the school community, Cindy has also been a fighter in her personal life. As a cancer survivor, she has shown incredible courage, determination, and grace in overcoming one of life’s toughest challenges. Her strength throughout her recovery has been an inspiration to everyone who knows her.

Unfortunately, Cindy is facing a significant challenge: her car, which she relies on to get to work and take care of her family, has broken down beyond repair. Without reliable transportation, she’s facing the very real possibility of missing work, which would be a huge hardship for her, her family, and for the school.

We all know how hard she works and how much she gives of herself every day. Now, it’s time for us to give back and show her the same level of love and support she’s shown to so many over the years. We’re asking for donations to help her get a reliable car so she can continue doing what she does best: serving the students, faculty, and families of Veterans.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and help get Cindy back on the road. Let’s show her that the community she’s poured so much of her heart into is here for her in her time of need.
