My name is Cindy, and I have always worked hard to support myself. Since July 2023, I have been without steady work in my career. During this time, I have taken on insurance sales and driven for Uber to make ends meet, but it has been a real struggle, especially without a car of my own. Thanks to both of my brothers, who have helped me, and for that, I am very grateful. Additionally my landlord has shown incredible patience and generosity, giving me extra time to catch up on my rent. I am currently behind on rent payments, and she has let me know that she cannot renew my lease unless this is paid.

I am doing everything I can to find stable employment, but working on commission and not having reliable transportation has made things even more challenging. I am reaching out for help because I am at risk of losing my home. Receiving support now would prevent homelessness and give me the chance to get back on my feet while I continue my job search.
