About a month ago the little void selected us for cat distribution. He loved the food, and decided to let himself in. He was very skinny and dirty when he first showed up at our doorstep, so we got a litter box, bathed him, and kept feeding him. After keeping him for a week he gained some weight and was much cleaner. What really struck us was how clean he kept himself, and how patient he was. We could tell he wasn't feral, so we went to a vet to check his chip and see if anyone was looking for him. The vet scanned the chip and we had to leave a message for the owner. Thats was also when we learned he was 10 years old. We were prescribed antibiotics and probiotics to treat him for his diarrhea.
After a week we had not heard back from the owner but we knew he had a chipped tooth, fleas, and worms so we went to another veterinarian to treat him. That was where we got the invoice for his dental work ranging from $1489-$2315 depending on what would be needed. While we could afford the other medication, we need help with his dental work.
We decided to name him Cinder, inspired by the Cinderella fairytale
