*** Update*** (Hey everyone, here’s an update on what’s going on. Currently my husband is in between stages 1-2 for Social security. They are doing the background checks right now. His labs have gotten significantly better. His protein levels have dropped from 4.3 to .9. So the change is happening. A consultation appointment for his transplant happened at IU health. The doctors found a hospital that accepts his insurance. Thanks to the help you gave 2 of the bills have been paid , you all (friends and family together) helped give my children probably the best Christmas thank you they loved everything. And last but not least. We’re ending cycle 4 as of 1/17/2025 and potentially could be done with chemo per the surgeons recommendation because, WE ARE CLOSE TO REMISSION. He’s fighting hard please keep praying and sharing, thank you .)***  Hello, my name is Ciji and I’ve made this fundraiser in hopes of helping my family. My Husband was diagnosed with stage 3 multiple myeloma on 9/16/2024. It’s been a very awkward time in our lives being that he’s still pretty young. He turned 32 in July. He did lose his job because they were “unwilling to accommodate his medical situation because of time employed” and his contribution to the house has been missed to say the least. He did just get that job, but it was a really great opportunity. He’s been a certified forklift operator for the last 8 years and the doctor and nurse pretty much told him “he’s going to have to rest if this is going to work”. His lab work has been looking great but as a result of his medication working he has been feeling more of the side effects. The fatigue, mood swings, loss appetite, nausea has really been taking a toll on him lately. We have two children (6,5 years old) we’re very good about not letting them see the bad that happens, but they do worry about him when he goes in for chemotherapy. He has hospital bills that weren’t covered by his insurance that we’re trying to get assistance for and he is currently waiting on disability to either accept or deny his claim. Here are the hospital bills uncovered by insurance($983.74{paid},$487.70{paid}, $1,198.00, and $832.00) due to Radiology
of Indiana, Ascension St. Vincent, and Community East. Honestly if anyone is able to donate it would be greatly appreciated and such a help and blessing.
