My name is Cierra. On May 10th, 2025, my husband and I were in a tragic motorcycle accident, causing both of us to be in the ICU. Thankfully, my husband was released two days later with severe road rash, a concussion, and a broken wrist. I, on the other hand, stayed in the hospital for a week with three broken vertebrae in my back, a broken rib, a laceration on my spleen, and my kidney was shattered 75%, as well as a concussion. Since being released, I have been in and out of hospitals due to getting infections and getting a drain placed on my side to help drain the infection out of my kidney.

Due to me needing around-the-clock supervision and medical care, I'm not able to work, and neither is my husband, who is caring for me and our five kids. Between appointments, hospital stays, medications, my husband driving from Ann Arbor to Jackson, and the medical equipment, we have used all our savings.
