Ciera is the kind of person who shows up for everyone—no matter what.

She’s a devoted mom to her three beautiful children, Nolan, Nathaniel, and her daughter Anna Dawn. But her love doesn’t stop there. When her sister Dawn was taken from us, Ciera stepped in without hesitation and took in her son Keoni, giving him stability, safety, and a home filled with love.

That’s who she is. She carries people when they need her and now, she’s the one who needs us.

Ciera was recently told she has a life-threatening stage 5 Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) an abnormal tangle of blood vessels that can rupture without warning.

Her doctor made it clear: she needs urgent surgery. Without it, her life is at serious risk. This surgery has a high risk of stroke, loss of vision, loss of feeling in the left side of her body.

There’s no time to wait.

While the surgery itself is covered, everything around it is not—and that’s where the weight becomes overwhelming. Ciera and partner work hard to provide, but they don't have benefits or paid time off.

This means:

Lost income during recovery

Travel back and forth for life-saving treatment

Accommodation and hospital-related expenses

Supporting four children who depend on her every day

And as if that wasn’t enough, Ciera is also facing another heartbreak—her father is currently battling cancer, and she is one of the people he depends on during this incredibly difficult time.

She is being pulled in every direction, for everyone she loves… while quietly facing something that could take her life.

Ciera has spent her life being the strong one. The one who steps in. The one who holds everything together.

Now it’s our turn to hold her.
