Help Ciera Jordanne's Family Avoid Homelessness

After trying to stay afloat since April of 2024, we are at our wits' end and are out of options. It feels as if we have been stuck between a rock and a hard place since deciding to become a union.

My name is Ciera Jordanne, and this is a part of my story. At 6 months postpartum, my husband, baby, and I were asked to vacate the housing arrangements offered to us by his parents. This was due to our unwavering boundaries and personal familial choices that simply couldn’t be respected. After two years of narcissistic abuse, we made our escape with minimal planning. We managed to secure some form of housing (thanks to other relatives) from April 2024 to August 2024 when we moved into our FIRST apartment on our own. Shortly after, my husband lost his employment as a technician, and we have been trying our best to make ends meet since November of 2024.

Today, May 11th, 2025, we have exhausted all possible support and options and are now on the verge of homelessness. We have tried our best in silence but now we are reaching out to the global community for assistance wherever possible. We were door dashing to generate income, but now our only vehicle has a blown head gasket, and we are currently immobile. Thankfully, the support we have received has allowed us to never go too hungry. However, today, we are humbly asking for assistance to get back on our feet as a new family. In addition to your donations, we have been and will continue to door dash/hustle/sell our possessions to keep ourselves alive and off the streets until my husband secures a reliable source of income.
