My name is Kristin and I'm trying to raise funds for my 9 year old cat's treatment plan.

The money goes into my mother's bank account since I don't have one and she attends his vet visits with me.

About a month ago his health started to decline. His appetite declining the most. The pounds fell right off him and he was bones. We took him to the vet just to find out he had other issues aside from the surface sickness.

Things like a heart murmur, respiratory issues, and small kidneys. Safe to say it scared me straight to my core.

They told me his issues were too broad to know for sure what was wrong with him. At the end of that visit I was met with a treatment plan full of expensive diagnostics and I've never felt more pathetic in my life. Seeing all the things I'd need to do but not being able to afford it. I left with the only thing I could afford which was a recuperation formula called Rebound to hopefully prepare him for antibiotics. I felt like I failed him.

My cat's name is Ciel.

Like most pet owners, he's my everything.

The main issue they observed was constipation, a major blockage. I managed to get favors to pay for more medication to help as well as an enema. I'm hoping that we can resolve that issue so he might want to eat again. It hurts me seeing how skinny he's gotten with his refusal to eat all together.

If you're wondering why I can't afford it, I'm 19 and searching for a job. I don't have an income. I live with my grandmother and take care of her because I went homeless a year ago. I've gone through years of struggle and Ciel has been with me through it all. It would kill me to watch him get so sick like this without at least trying everything I could to pay for his treatment.
