Hi, my name is Livia, and I’m fundraising for a very special person in my life—Cida.
Cida is an elderly woman in Brazil who suffered a stroke and now faces significant medical challenges. She had polio as a child and has walked with the help of a cane her entire life. Despite her own struggles, she is one of the most selfless, generous people I’ve ever known.
Cida helped raise me. She’s more than family—she is the heart of my childhood and someone who shaped the person I am today. She was a fundamental presence in my family—especially during my dad’s cancer treatment, when she stood by him as a tireless and compassionate companion. Now she needs care and support that her current circumstances cannot provide.
We are hoping to raise $5,000 to help cover her medical expenses, therapy, and daily assistance as she recovers. Every donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward making her more comfortable and giving her the care she needs.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page. Your support means the world to us.
Thank you,
Livia
