Help Cici relocate for Grad School

Hello Family + Friends,
I’m so excited to share that I’ve been accepted into graduate school!!.... Ready for it? Northwestern MFA program that only accepts 10% of the applicants! An incredible opportunity that I’ve worked tirelessly toward. As I prepare to move out of state to begin this next chapter in Chicago, I’m reaching out for support to help cover the costs of relocating.
As many of you know growing up undocumented, I’ve had to navigate many challenges with limited resources. Throughout undergrad, I’ve been resourceful and found ways to pursue my education at UC Berkeley as a first generation student. I’ve dedicated myself fully to my craft, which has meant putting work on hold to focus on my studies and growth.
While my graduate program is fully funded (a huge blessing!), the costs of moving—travel, housing deposits, and basic setup—are adding up quickly. I’ve been a full time student for the last year and I’m hoping to raise $2,500 to help ease this transition and set me up for success as I take this big step.
I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve received over the years. I truly wouldn’t be here without the encouragement and kindness of my community. Any contribution, no matter the size, means the world to me—and if you’re unable to give, sharing this with others is just as appreciated.
Thank you for believing in me and being part of this journey.
With gratitude y amor,
Ciclady
