Help Ciara and Daughter Rebuild Their Lives After Fire
Donation protected
Hello everyone. My name is Ciara Anderson. I'm a single mom only parent to my beautiful 7 year old daughter. We lived in the immediate area of the Eaton Fire on the border of Altadena/Pasadena. Our home faced significant wind, smoke and ash damages. We are no longer able to live there since Jan 7. We have to find a new place to live immediately and are currently displaced living out of the car, evacuation centers and strangers or anyone whom will let us stay with them temporarily. We will use these funds for anything not covered by Fema or other agencies. We are currently struggling with basic needs at times such as regular healthy meals. We have been eating many free snacks, but hard to find real food. Luckily, I do have a vehicle but no way to pay for repairs/damages or on-going maintenance or gas related expenses. I feel fortunate I have even my car as many people in our area got totally consumed entirely by the fire. Unfortunately I am now unemployed and without any income and job is no longer applicable in the area due to the recent devastating events. I will be looking for new work along with childcare soon and any opportunities for stability for my daughter and I. I will be using these funds to regain a sense of stability or to replace any items that were lost or damaged due to the fires. We lost our entire community and all of the places we once used to visit and patronize looks like a war zone and our neighborhood the apolocalypse. We are deeply depressed and saddened by the events and now currently facing homelessness just my 7 years old daughter and I. It is likely we will be moving out of the state eventually and starting over to rebuild our lives from scratch since I don't believe we will be able to rebuild our lives in the new evolving climate of the area. If you can donate anything it truly helps and makes a difference for us. We would be eternally grateful.
