Chewbacca, lovingly known as Chuy, is my energetic 1-year-old Yorkshire Terrier mix who has always brought so much joy and laughter into my life. Recently, Chuy was diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis, a condition that has left one of his legs disabled. Watching him try to stay cheerful while only being able to use three legs has been heartbreaking. He used to run around on all fours, but now he struggles to balance, especially when he's excited for a treat or waiting for me to call him over. Despite his pain, Chuy remains playful and loving, which makes it even harder to see him go through this.

The surgery Chuy needs is essential for him to regain the use of his leg and live a pain-free, active life. Unfortunately, the cost of the procedure is more than I can afford on my own.
