I'm in the middle of a medical and financial emergency that has completely halted my life. Symptoms we thought were due to a sinus infection back in December 2025 are now suspected to be from Multiple Sclerosis.
I have gone completely deaf in my right ear, and I am battling debilitating Vertigo and Tinnitus. The loss of balance was so severe that I was bedridden for an entire week. I thought I was blowing mucus from my nose, but now they believe it could be spinal fluid.
I am navigating all of this without health insurance. Because of the Vertigo and deafness, I am unable to work. To keep the diagnostic process moving, I have been forced to put every doctor's appointment, audiogram, and every scan on credit cards, and the debt is mounting at a terrifying rate.
I have an appointment with a Neurotologist in Miami who specializes in the head and neck. The cost for initial testing approx $2,000. Five (5) more MRI's are currently needed, starting with the brain, which must all be paid for out of pocket.
Why $75,000? To cover the massive costs of specialized care.
I have set this goal not just to cover the immediate needs but the long road of recovery that lies ahead. Without insurance, the costs are staggering. MRIs are approx $500 each without contrast. The high cost of potential surgeries, hearing devices, and intensive physical rehabilitation to regain my balance. It will also support basic survival needs like providing a safety net for rent, utilities, and food, while I am physically unable to work. Anything left will go towards clearing the high-interest credit card debt I have already accumulated just to get these initial answers.
A Note of Gratitude
Asking for help on this scale is incredibly humbling, but I have reached a point where I cannot climb this mountain alone. Your support, whether it is a donation or simply sharing this link, is the only way I can afford to find the “why” behind these symptoms and get back to wellness.
Thank you for being my lifeline in this storm. Many Blessings.
