My name is Aly Garback and I’m raising funds for my cat Chunky. He was admitted to the animal hospital last night after previously having a pulmonary embolism. He was diagnosed with asthma and they think he might have an infection or cancer based on his low white blood cell count. I’m a social worker working for a non profit rape crisis center and don’t make the kind of money needed to support his hospital bills, on top of struggling to pay my own hospital bills from earlier this year. This cat means more to me than I can tell you; he is the greatest emotional support, the biggest lover of attention, and one of the most talkative cats I’ve ever met. He captures the heart of everyone who meets him and deserves to live a full life free of pain and suffering. It kills me that I can’t support his treatment on my own.
