Hi, my name is Emily and I'm fundraising for my family dog. He got out of the house this morning and ran onto the freeway. Chunky was hit by a car and fortunately, police were called and he was taken to the humane society. After 2 hours of looking for him, we got a call from the humane society and made our way over to pick him up. They couldn't tell us how bad it was but that he needed to go to the emergency vet after they did everything they could to help him. After waiting for an update, they told us he has brain trauma, his tail was completely ripped open and needed to be amputated, and a possible broken spine with injured back legs. He is currently at VCA animal hospital in Pearl City being monitored and treated for all of his injuries.

Chunky is a 2-year-old Pitbull/Shar Pei, truly a gentle giant. He loves spending time with his family and playing with his 3 fur siblings. His favorite activities include sleeping, sunbathing, eating, running around the house, and chilling on top of the car protecting his family. We all love our chunky boy and so would you.

All fundraised money will go toward surgeries, hospitalization, and the recovery process. Anything and everything helps. We would all appreciate your help.
