Last year, my sweet cat Chunky developed a lump on his backside near his right leg. When I took him to the vet, they found a lot of multiplying cells and recommended immediate removal. The surgery was a big step, and the diagnosis was a grade 3 sarcoma. The vet recommended chemo, but after researching the cost and considering Chunky's age—he's 13—I couldn't afford it and didn't want to put him through too much.
Unfortunately, the tumor is back and growing by the day. Chunky is the sweetest boy who loves tummy rubs and sleeping on my pillow. He has a sister named Little Mama, and they are inseparable. I want to give Chunky the best chance at more happy years, so I'm hoping to get the tumor removed again and, with your help, pursue chemo treatment this time. The funds raised will go directly toward his surgery, chemo, and any follow-up care he needs.
Chunky has so much more life left—anything you can do will be appreciated. People often tell me my cat is lucky to have me, but the truth is, I'm the lucky one. Please help us give Chunky more time to enjoy the love and comfort of his family.
