My name is Chuck, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest seasons of my life. I never thought I’d be in a position like this, but right now my family and I truly need help.

I recently lost my job, and since then I’ve been doing everything I can to survive and keep moving forward. I’m currently driving DoorDash daily and actively applying for jobs, trying to get back to stable work as quickly as possible. I’m doing my best to stay responsible and proactive, even during a very overwhelming time.

I have a wife who depends on me, and she has asthma. She is currently in the hospital due to complications, which has been emotionally exhausting and financially draining. Seeing someone you love struggle with their health while worrying about how to keep a roof over your head is incredibly difficult.

At this point, I am about three months behind on rent and three months behind on my car payment. My car is essential—it’s the only way I can work, get to interviews, and continue trying to earn income. Right now, I’ve completely run out of money and am doing everything I can just to hold things together.

I want to be clear that I’m not giving up. I’m actively working to get back on my feet and provide for my family. This GoFundMe is meant to help us get through this emergency period—cover overdue rent, prevent car repossession, help with medical-related expenses, and give us a chance to stabilize while I secure steady employment.
