Donation protected
Hi, my name is Starla and I am raising money for a local family here in Maine who is in dire need of help. I am enclosing Chuck’s statements below for you to read and the see the extent of heartache a despair this family has endured; with no help from anyone.

“ My family lost our home a year ago due to my becoming ill with diabetic ulcers on my feet I lost a toe healed up 6 month's later and then a month later developed another ulcer on my other foot about 3 months later I lost another toe I healed up 6 months later and went back to work 2 months later I developed another ulcer that one healed up then, I went back to work and got an infection in my right foot had a week off and that developed into my last ulcer which I still have been fighting it since February of last year. I was and am still not able to work according to my foot doctor it will get infected and I am at risk of loosing my foot I left my job knowing they couldn't hold onto my position indefinitely and I was to rough on my feet I was a tow truck operator at Union street towing. I fell behind in my lot rent at the trailer park I lived in and they evicted us knowing I was medically laid up my wife whom has her own mental health issues as well as our children were forced out of the only home they knew to be forced to live in a camper from June 2nd last year till now . I ended up in the hospital with a infection for 2.5 weeks the had a pic line in for 6 weeks for infusions to fight the infection which was a challenge all I it self I had no income and it's 22 miles one way to get the care I needed everyday.
Luckily we had food stamps to keep food for the kids we finally got approved for tanf but they expect a family of 4 to live on 700 a month in the process someone called CPS on us for child endangering cause we had no water or power for th first month of living here cause I was incompacitated with a walking boot and the infection finally got that situation resolved only to be stuck in our present situation of the town serving us with the violation citation paperwork if the debris from tearing down the beyond repair trailer that is here and bringing in the other one which I still have to remove the additions down in cornville before any moving company will touch it I am stuck doing it all myself.
The worst part was we lost 90% of our clothing and appliances to the elements. berrows, kids clothes stuffed animals blankets.
We lost our TANF when I won the SSI case we make to much to get aide hell I paid with my first check for the dumpster got our jeep fixed only for another part to break but the power steering rack blew apart and we spent 24 days not being able to leave our camper. That cost 900 to get fixed now the clock spring went. I registered the jeep and got insurance back on it finally after all winter without now our power bill is over 5k and they are trying like hell to shut it off I am drowning but I smile and act like nothing bothers me for my two girls I have a 5 year old and one will be 12 on the 16th I can't even buy her a present cause we are so strapped.
I don't even know how much longer I can hang on this is getting to be a nightmare we just lost the clock spring on wife's Jeep that about 500 to get fixed seems like we have more going out than we are finding.
Also, just got served with a town violation I have 30 days to clean up the debris. “ ~ Chuck

The money will be used to get the help this family needs to get this debris cleared, food, repairs, clothes and essentials this family is in need of.
Whether you it is monetary, a helping hand, clothes, food, daily essentials; this family will forever be grateful!
