Dear friends and family,

Over the holidays, our world was rocked when we received the news no one wants to ever receive - Chuck was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in the form of a tumor at the base of his tongue.

This journey is just beginning, but it has already brought with it a wave of emotional, physical, and financial hurdles.

Because of the location of the tumor, treatment is very challenging.

He faces a tough road ahead, including daily radiation treatments, weekly chemo treatments, medications, and ongoing care to ensure the best chance of beating this disease.

Due to his severe headaches (caused by the tumor), tons of doctor's appointments, and now daily radiation treatments, both he and Wendy have had to miss a lot of work.

The financial burden of cancer treatment is immense, and while Chuck is a fighter, they can't do this alone!

While his actual radiation and chemo treatments are covered by Medicare, all other expenses have to be paid out of pocket (including a $6k oral surgery that he had to have before he could begin treatment).

Any support will go directly toward:

- Medical expenses: Surgeries, medications, and specialist appointments.

- Travel costs: Daily trips to and from treatment centers and medical facilities.

- Daily living support: Covering basic needs and helping to ease the stress so he can focus on healing.
