My sweet 4-year-old English Bulldog, Chubs, is my whole world. She is more than just a pet—she’s my best friend, my comfort, and a constant source of love and joy. Anyone who has met Chubs knows how special she is to me and how perfect she is.
Chubs was born with an umbilical hernia, and today it suddenly ruptured. The emergency vet warned that without surgical repair, the hernia may not close on its own and puts her at serious risk for infection, including potentially life-threatening complications.
On top of that, Chubs has also been diagnosed with entropion, a painful eye condition where her eyelids roll inward, requiring corrective surgery to prevent ongoing pain and damage to her eyes.
Between emergency care and the surgeries she now needs, I’m facing an estimated $8,000–$12,000 in medical expenses.
This all happened suddenly, and while I will do everything I can for her, I can’t do it alone. Chubs is not just a pet—she’s my family, my comfort, and my constant companion.
If you’re able to donate or even share this, it would mean more to me than I can express. Thank you for helping me give her the care she urgently needs.
If you’d like to donate to her vet directly, please contact Mission Valley Veterinary Hospital in Fremont, CA at [phone redacted].
