For Our Friend Chubbs

Sometimes life throws us the hardest battles when we least expect them, and right now our friend Chubbs is fighting one of those battles. He suffered a severe injury to his foot that nearly cost him his life. So far, he has already undergone three surgeries and still needs two more. He is eager to have them so he can heal, get back to work, and return to being who he truly is, a hardworking, devoted, and giving person.

If you know Chubbs, you know he has a heart of gold. He is the first to step up when someone else is in need, the one fixing things behind the scenes, lending a hand, cracking a joke, and pouring his heart into everything he does. He has done so much for our school and for so many others in the community. Now it is our turn to be there for him.

Being out of work has been incredibly difficult for someone as dedicated as Chubbs. But what is even harder is watching someone who has given so much have to face this season of recovery with so many medical bills and procedures still ahead. Let’s remind him that he is not alone, and that the same community he has always cared for is ready to care for him.

Every prayer, every share, and every bit of support makes a difference. Let’s lift him up with the same love, laughter, and generosity he has always shown to us.
