Help CHS students go to Japan!
In spring 2023, Capital High School students will be traveling to Japan! Help us make the trip a little more affordable with a donation.
My name is Eric Brayden, and I'm a social studies teacher at Capital High in Santa Fe, NM. I believe that travel is one of the best ways to open minds and hearts to other cultures. I was inspired by my teachers who took me on trips to Europe when I was a student in high school myself, so now I want to pay it forward. However, travel isn't cheap! Any help you can provide would be a tremendous gift to my students.
Details about our trip and fundraising -
- We will be spending six days in Japan in March 2023!
- We have TWENTY-FIVE students signed up! Hooray!
- We'll be visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. It's going to be a jam-packed spring break!
- We'll learn Japanese history, visit shrines, eat traditional foods, and see historical and natural landmarks.
- The total cost of the trip (flights, hotels, entrance fees, meals, transportation, etc.) is about $4,300 per student.
- All donations will be distributed directly and equally to the students to offset their costs.
- Many traditional fundraising avenues have been shut off for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, options that once were available such as DonorsChoose, local school district fundraisers, and local organizations, are not available to us this year.
- Any amount helps!
Thank you!
