Hi, I'm Christy Holt. I'm a very busy and healthy person, but I have got myself in a terrible predicament. When my husband lost his job (and our insurance) a couple of years ago, I thought I only had a couple of years until I could sign up for Medicare. I'm a very healthy person and take no prescription drugs. But little did I know, my appendix would rupture, and it would put me in the hospital for over a week. I have missed two weeks of work and I'm still not out of the woods. I would be grateful for any donation. I have donated on this site many times for friends and friends of friends whose situations moved my heart. I hope that it could help me get through the next couple of months.
