Help Christy Fight Cancer and Overcome Hardship

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

It is with a heavy heart but also with hope that I share the story of my dear friend Christy Ballard (Jacobs), a truly selfless and compassionate soul who is now facing the fight of her life. Recently, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, and while she battles this devastating illness, she’s also struggling with the financial and emotional toll it has taken on her.

Christy is the proud mother of two wonderful sons, Tyler and Preston, and a doting grandmother to her precious grandson, Karter, who lights up her life. Her family, close friends, and community mean everything to her. Beyond her immediate family, Christy has built an extended circle of friends who are like her adopted family. She has touched so many lives with her kindness, love, and unwavering support, and she deeply appreciates the love and care that others are now showing her in return.

Her Journey

On October 31, 2024, Christy’s life changed forever when she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. While the news was overwhelming and difficult to process, Christy is tackling this battle with incredible strength, hope, and the knowledge that she is surrounded by a loving community of friends and family.

Christy has been undergoing chemotherapy and will continue treatment until the end of March. Following this, she will begin radiation and surgery. These treatments have taken a toll on her physically and emotionally. Unable to work during this time, Christy has been burdened by the mounting medical bills and the cost of daily living, which have made an already challenging situation even harder.

Despite these challenges, Christy approaches each day with grace, courage, and determination. Her gratitude for the love, support, and encouragement she’s received is immeasurable.

Our Goal
