This is my husband Christopher with our granddaughter. He has end stage renal disease. He has been on dialysis for almost 11 years due to undiagnosed high blood pressure. He is otherwise healthy and refrains from partaking in anything that may cause adverse effects to his health. Though he is on dialysis, he is still a hard worker for our family. He is a truck driver, and loves what he does. However, because of his health, he is limited in what he can do and how far he can drive.

He has been cleared to go on the transplant list, but before they put him on, we have to have proof that we can cover our financial needs while he is in recovery and to take care of any medical needs uncovered by his insurance. That includes the medication that he will have to permanently take for the remainder of his life after the procedure. Please give if you can, and share with others. We love him and want to be able to share more memories with him. He has so many things he wishes to do that is prohibited because of his condition. This kidney will grant him a better quality of life.
