Hello, my name is Christopher, and I've spent the past 7 years of my life working towards healing from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). My life changed dramatically when I was in a hit-and-run car accident, and because of the impact from the car crash, I was left with severe chronic pain every waking moment of life. My symptoms are: nerve pain throughout my body, brain fog, decreased immune system, GI dysfunction, insomnia, PTSD, dizziness, fatigue, and a fast heart rate.

When the hit-and-run accident happened, my mother was someone who supported me greatly by taking me to numerous hospitals. Unfortunately, I was not able to get an accurate diagnosis of my condition until after 5 and a half years. This is due to this serious disease not being known to many. I was told that I have CRPS by a doctor who is aware of CRPS. She was aware of CRPS, but not someone who specializes in treating it. I finally found a clinic that specializes in treating CRPS (The Spero Clinic).

After 6 years of enduring, I finally found a solution. Their treatment is supposed to take about 4 months. The predicament that I'm in now is that the treatment costs $50,000. I haven't been able to work for years due to my health condition, and money in my family is scarce as we are in debt. I have been able to have a place to sleep and food to eat thanks to my mother who has been helping and sacrificing for me.

If you support me, the funds will be used for treatment at a clinic in Kansas where they specialize in healing patients who have CRPS like myself. As someone who is suffering from this illness, I wish to be healed from it. And once I'm healed, I will make illnesses such as CRPS more known to people in the world. And I will go to school to study how to treat those with chronic pain as well. Thank you.
