Hello, my name is Christopher and my fiancée, Ashley, and I have fallen on hard times.

Let me start out by saying that these hard times started when a back injury forced me to leave the company I was working at. This made it difficult to keep up with our rent and we lost our apartment on Jan 16, 2025. Ashley and I have been in motel rooms when we can, but we mostly live in our car with our cat, Calypso.

Recently, I have been denied for SSI/SSDI and am currently in the appeals process. In February, I suffered a major heart attack. I am recovering well, but we are still living in our car.

We are trying the best we can, but with me unable to work, I can't see an end to these hard times.
