Our favourite welshman has had a bad accident on his fishing trip across Europe and has badly broken his hip, he is currently in tortosa He has made the mistake and forgot to buy medical insurance, he is being treated at tortosa hospital and will be having an emergency operation within hours of writing this.

He has spoken to the British embassy and they are not helping him. Now it's our time to help him.

We have no idea of the costs yet but he will need to cover medical costs, getting home and recovering his van!

Christo has done so much for so many people having raised thousands for charity now it's our time to help him and get him home.

This time he needs us!

Update on christo.

I spoke to christo today after he raised his complaints about the nurse. He has managed to speak to someone senior at the hospital who is going to make sure she doesn't deal with him again. Also his pain relief seems to be sorted and is now getting tramadol which seems to be keeping the pain manageable he is in better spirits and is now able to walk down the corridor and feels he is making progress.

He has looked into a getting a medivac back to England however it wouldn't be immediate and will take severel days to set up, and the 17.5 hour journey with the pain is just gonna be to much.

He is hoping the next couple of days he will be up and about and is planning on going back to where he is staying to rest and recover there for a week before moving to a friend's hotel in the area for another couple of weeks to regain his strength. The plan is then a couple of his friends will get a ferry over to Spain pick him up and drive him to Maidstone hospital close to his mum's house.

The costs are gonna be estimated at around 10k if he leaves the hospital on Monday as planned.
