Help Christine with Bicycle Accident Recovery!
Donation protected
On May 29 2020, my sister Christine, was involved in a severe bicycling accident. While she was out riding her bike in a local park where she lives in Irvine, she was hit by a car at high speed.
She was taken to the hospital with multiple severe injuries including two broken legs, a broken arm, a punctured lung, fractured pelvis, fractured clavicle and unknown possible brain injuries. Christine was placed in an induced coma while the doctors and nurses have done everything they can to save her life.
As the accident is still being investigated, we are trying to fundraise to help Christine with the looming costs involved. There continues to be rising surgery counts ( around 12 so far ), stay in the hospital for a month, unknown costs for physical therapy, unknown legal fees and uncertainty of costs of living to assist in her future quality of life.
We are hopeful and optimistic as Christine fights this long road ahead that she will be able to return to as normal of a life and her blossoming career in the financial industry. Christine is a loving, caring and devoted sister, daughter, granddaughter and friend. She deeply touches all of our lives, and would do anything to help others. She is a 33 year old young woman who lives by herself and any contribution you could donate is greatly appreciated!
We also want to take this event to continue to raise the awareness of Bicyclist safety and importance of sharing the road, keeping everyone safe. Christine is lucky to be a survivor of this kind of accident but many are not that lucky.
We will make sure to post updates on this GoFund
