PLEASE HELP Army Veteran's family get back on the road...

Hi everyone,

My name is Christine, and I’m reaching out during a very difficult time for my family. Our only vehicle recently suffered a complete transmission failure, and the cost to repair it is estimated at $2,500—an amount that is currently beyond our reach.

With my husband losing his job just a week after the car broke down and my paycheck being our only source of income, we’re facing significant financial strain. This vehicle is essential not only for commuting to work but also for me to attend frequent (vital) medical appointments, for my husband to be able to attend any interviews, for him to also attend his much needed VA appointments as well as still try to manage our everyday responsibilities for the household. The constant stress and anxiety, at times, is almost unbearable.

I’ve explored every possible avenue to raise the funds, including reaching out to local resources, family members, and support programs, but I’ve had no success so far. I recently had to rent a car for just ONE day to be able to attend a mandatory in office doctor’s appointment and it cost over $100—an expense I simply cannot afford to repeat week after week.

This situation has placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on my family, and I’m doing everything I can to stay as positive and strong as possible until we find a solution. That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe—to ask for help from anyone who may be able to support us during this challenging time.
