Hi friends, well I didn’t think I would have to do this, but do to a recent medical emergency, I’m needing to ask for a little help, I woke up Friday 3 AM with a major migraine and low grade fever, OK I have a bug‍♀️, I attempted going to work thinking I have a flu, perhaps, had obligations to my clients for their weekend as I am a chef for a women’s first responders recovery house , I attempted my weekend shop for my gals, though feeling really horrible, I had to get it done! I almost made it to work and started feeling worse by the minute i became very lightheaded and almost passed out on the way in, when I arrived, I laid down in my backseat texted my boss said I’m in the driveway lying down. I’m not feeling well, they all came out. At that time I started having cramping in my chest and I was getting really nervous seeing spots sweating profusely. And my arm started hurting, and I hadn’t done anything to my arm to make.It hurt,my coworkers jumped into action unloaded my car of groceries and drove me home in my car to assist me so I would not have to worry about it .as the day progressed my elbow and then upper arm was beginning to hurt more and swell more. my upper arm started realing swelling and turning bright red, and it was so freaking painful I could not us it, my fever was rising 102.4, now the swelling had gone all the way into my clavicle area and neck all on my right side, which is my breast cancer side so I’m very aware, my husband Rick monitored me closely and off we went to the hospital early Sunday morning, the smartest thing we did , within minutes. The ER doctor said we have to admit you immediately , and start you with intervenous antibiotics, immediately!! so there I was admitted, and the chaos began the arm continued to swell the migraine the fever it was all scary. First, they thought possibly it was caused from my lymph node removal on my right side from my breast cancer treatment, as that is always a risk for

The rest of my life, my mom had lymphedema when she was battling breast cancer and that was my biggest fear, and always has been that I would get lymphedema in that arm, as I’ve been warned it could happen” no pricks no pokes no BP” in your right arm , I’m told over and over again for the rest of your life! so the fear was real! We’re still waiting on an actual complete diagnosis they say cellulitis & staph, which is a skin infection in the tissue of your skin, but due to my lymph node removal and the possibility of lymphedema we needed to be on top of it! I was able to stay in the hospital for a few days and then they said It would be best if I could go home and have Home nursing assistance at home, that way I could have a better chance of resting comfortably and away from germs etc especially with the staph threat, so we are dealing with more than one problem on the same little arm that’s already been abused. .while waiting the cultures grew and bloodwork came in, they continue to order multiple MRIs CT scans with die (which caused more issues lots of nausea diarrhea I seriously felt like i

was dying, and I was so scared cause my previous breast cancer diagnosis , they removed all my lymph nodes in the same arm which grows big concern for lymphedema which my mom had when she was battling BC, and it was horrific, I was horrified, Scared in pain and now am I thinking? Whose gonna take care of my girls? I do not have a replacement at my position, I am the lifeline to their health and well-being, ‍ but I’ve got to take care of me! They have released me home with an IV with strict orders to be in bed elevated at all times with blood pressure equipment, and all, and they have assigned a home nurse to come once a day to infuse my intravenous antibiotics necessary to keep this infection at bay and video doctor appointments, I still have swelling and extreme pain, but I’m home with with Rick and our puppies little RicoSuave , Lola , TashaBella, and Mr. Zorrozinscadoodle, now that I’m home I’m trying to figure out. How am I going to stay home and get well and pay my upcoming bills without a paycheck!? not to mention the medical bills I just endured are going to be outrageousThere’s no way to file for such a short term disability, by the time it’s approved I’m back to work and I still don’t have a paycheck with waiting periods, etc. so I’ve come to ask if you my friends can assist me in the medical endeavor. I’m on. I would truly appreciate any help you could give! I know times are tough for us all, and I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t really need to, but looking at things I just have to ask!
