Hello again, quick update thanks to your donations I was able to pay off my hospital bills to date. Thank you for your generosity. One more surgery to go but it’s on hold for now.

Hello, my name is Christine, I am a single woman from Oklahoma dealing with an autoimmune disorder that has advanced.

What was supposed to be one surgery has now turned in to three and a trip to the emergency room. While I have excellent insurance as a civil servant for the state my total out of pocket responsibility of $4000.00 is more than I can manage on my current salary, and as I run out of paid leave there is a possibility of time away from work without pay.

For those who know me they can attest that it is outside of my character to ask for help of any kind, much less asking for donations however, I am overwhelmed by the financial burden I am facing due to this unexpected situation. Yes, I had savings, yes I had credit, since I have been dealing with ongoing treatments since July 2024 all my reserves have been exhausted. With one income you can only save so much.

This GoFundMe is set up to provide vital support during this challenging time. Donations will go toward:

• Medical expenses not covered by insurance

• Household utility bills to help with any weeks I go unpaid to keep the lights and heat on only.

NOTE: This money will not go for any personal frivolous expenses. I will show proof of payment to bills.

I am extremely grateful for the few much valued friends, family and even the nurse from my church (who shall remain anonymous), that have assisted me over the past few months. I am also grateful for the ability to receive excellent medical care (even if it does cost a fortune :)).
