Help Christine Heal: Support Her Surgery & Recovery

Anyone who knows Christine knows her love of Maine summer. She’s always had a spiritual connection to lakes, the trails and the sun. While enjoying an early morning on the water, Christine sadly fractured her hip. She needs urgent surgery and will have long recovery.

 

Christine has made an impact on the Lake Region community over the past 30 years that is indescribable. Throughout her life, she has been a beacon of kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. Whether it was serving her community through political action, lending a helping hand to those in need, or simply brightening someone's day with her infectious smile, she has made a profound difference in the lives of many.

 

Visiting her this morning I assumed she would be in physical pain, but her emotional pain was much greater. From the first moment of her injury, all she has talked about is her stress of needing to work. It’s truly heartbreaking. It’s not right.

 

Now, it's our turn to give back to the person who has given so much to all of us. The cost of her surgery and the subsequent rehabilitation is a financial burden that she will struggle to manage.

 

We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help cover the substantial medical expenses and to ensure that she can focus on her recovery without the added stress of financial strain.
