Help Christine Giovetti beat cancer

Donation protected
Hey y’all. My mom, Christine, discovered a painful lump in her jaw back in July. It was biopsied and it turned out to be stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma in her salivary gland.

On Monday (Sept 18), she was in surgery for 12 hours. Doctors removed a tumor and other cancer cells in the floor of her mouth and tongue. She’s at University of Maryland Medical Center now, recovering. We’re staying hopeful! But she has a long road to recovery ahead, with chemo and radiation to start in hopefully 6 weeks.

My mom is the nicest person, as many of her countless friends and close family will tell you. A CPA for decades, she’s a hard worker and keeps my finances in check year after year. She is a beautiful singer, and an all-around beautiful soul. She’s strong-willed and determined to beat this, but we all need a little help sometimes.

My dad’s birthday is Sunday, 9/24, and my birthday is Monday, 9/25. I usually post a fundraiser for a charity on my fb page, but this year, I’m asking for help in giving my mom a boost.

Be well, friends, and hold your loved ones close!
