Help Christina Bring Phil Home

This week, as we learned that Phillip (Phil) Pennell had passed away, his mother, Christina began the painful process of accepting her son's death while also taking on the financial stress of bringing her little boy back home from BC.

Phil, like so many of us, was a complicated human. We know that Phil's relationships with many people were strained and uncomfortable these last few years. We also know that there was a time before, and in that time Phil was a bright light, with a kind heart and a gentle soul, who was loved and loved deeply.

While we each try to reconcile those two realities in our own way, our ask is that we focus right now on supporting Christina and her family through their grief. All money collected will go directly to Christina to offset the costs associated with returning Phil to the island, funeral arrangements, and offer comfort as they process this tremendous loss.
