Help Christine Fight Stage 4 HER2-Positive Inflammatory Breast Cancer

We are reaching out on behalf of a remarkable woman Christine our beloved mother. Christine is 44 years old and currently battling Stage 4 HER2-positive Inflammatory Breast Cancer, an aggressive and rare form of breast cancer that returned in January 2024. This time, the cancer has spread beyond the breast and skin, making the fight even more urgent and difficult.

Her Story

Christine was first diagnosed in May 2020, at just 39 years old, with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. At that time, she discovered a lump in her right breast, which later turned out to be three, including those in the lymph nodes. She went through surgery and chemotherapy all during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when support was scarce and fear was constant. Myself along with my brother Darrell, had to become caregivers overnight. Despite the overwhelming emotional and financial pressure, Christine fought hard and beat it once.

Now the cancer has returned fiercer and more advanced.

Why We're Asking for Help

Christine’s new treatment plan includes:

More aggressive chemotherapy

A full mastectomy

Radiation therapy

Frequent CT scans, blood work, and supportive treatments

Long-term medications to manage recurrence

Sadly, apart from initial tests, her treatment hasn’t started due to lack of funds. Christine already bore the entire financial burden of her first battle there’s nothing left. But there’s still hope. That’s why we’ve created this GoFundMe because we believe in miracles, and we believe in the power of community.
