At the beginning of September, Christine’s daughter, Gianna, was admitted to the hospital with appendicitis. What began as an urgent surgery has turned into a long and complicated hospital stay, with no clear release date in sight.

As a single mom, Christine is doing everything she can to stay strong for Gianna and her son Christian, but this unexpected crisis has placed an enormous strain on the entire family.
