My name is Christine, and I am asking for urgent help to save my home after a housing and medical crisis turned my life upside down.

I am a disabled brain injury survivor who spent years rebuilding my health, my credit, and my independence. Then a negligent landlord and failed repair-and-insurance situation left me carrying major housing costs that I never should have been left to pay alone. I used my own money and credit to cover repairs, temporary housing, and emergency expenses because I was told those costs would be reimbursed.

That reimbursement never came, and the financial damage has been devastating. Then my health suffered even more. Unsafe gas conditions in the home led to a serious medical emergency and hospitalization, and I am still living with the physical and financial fallout.

The gas has been shut off, which means no hot water and no normal cooking setup. Everyday life has become exhausting, and I am now trying to survive while also protecting the only home I have for me and my three dogs, Buckly, Hunter, and Hamicho aka "Lil Sam." Buckley is with me in the picture.

My need is urgent in two stages. First, I need to raise $3,300 immediately for overdue HOA dues so I can protect my home from further action. Second stage is for property taxes to keep the property current and prevent the crisis from getting worse. If I can raise beyond that, the additional funds will go toward essential bills and basic housing stabilization so I can avoid bankruptcy and begin rebuilding.

I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for the chance to keep my home, restore basic safety and dignity, and make it through a crisis that has already taken so much from me.
