Help Christina Heal Her Heart

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out on behalf of our friend and coworker, Christina Saldana - a devoted single mom, a selfless healthcare worker, and someone who has spent the last 15 years helping save the lives of others. Now, she needs our help to save her own.

Christina has recently been diagnosed with heart failure, a terrifying and life-altering condition that no one should have to face alone. Her medical team has determined that she will need a defibrillator placed as a temporary measure, and she will soon be placed on the heart transplant list - a journey that comes with enormous emotional, physical, and financial challenges.

Christina is the proud and loving mother of two young children, who are her entire world. She’s also one of the hardest-working people we know. For the past 15 years, Christina has served as a scrub technologist, working tirelessly behind the scenes in operating rooms, assisting in surgeries and putting others first every single day. She’s the kind of person who shows up, gives her all, and never complains, even when she’s hurting.

Christina will need to take time off work to undergo procedures, recover, and prepare for a future transplant. While she’s incredibly strong, the reality is that this will put an enormous financial strain on her and her children. Between medical bills, everyday living expenses, and the loss of income while she’s unable to work, the burden is simply too much to carry alone.
