Help Christina Nelson's Family Through Cancer

Hey to all my Christian warriors out there, I am a friend of Christina Nelson. I met Christina when our girls started Kindergarten and they had the same teacher. We are both teachers in the Brandon schools. Christina and I have become closer friends when both our girls got involved with playing volleyball. Christina was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the lung and spine, she is in the beginning of finding out treatment and scheduling and things are moving really slow for her right now. She is scared and worried for her family. She is an avid believer in the Lord and knows He has a plan. But I know things have got to be so scary finding something out like this all of a sudden.

She is only able to work on and off right now due to the pain and strain of just breathing and becoming lightheaded. Her nephew is also a Senior this year and the two boys are both involved with the Brandon Band. Lucy is on the Brandon Middle School Volleyball team. Her husband is a principal at Pelahatchie High School. They may have to travel to MD Anderson very soon and both would be off of work and with her not being able to return the burden of finances should be the least of their worries.

All Christina knows right now is that she is having a biopsy on Monday and can't start treatment until the 15th. I have been praying for her and her family since she told me about this and I have faith that God will get her through this one way or another.

I have never started a GoFundMe but I can't think of anyone else that deserves a little peace of mind about finances as this sweet family does. Please help in any way that you can! Please feel free to share and spread the word!
