I never thought I would be making a fundraiser like this, and honestly, I feel kind of silly to ask but I’m Christina, and I’m raising this for my family because we’ve reached a point where the numbers just are not working anymore. I am chronically ill and mostly bed/home ridden, and my husband owns a small computer repair and IT business. We are doing our best to keep going and are just trying something on the side to bridge the gap. We are carrying a heavy amount of debt, including medical debt, credit cards, vehicle loans, and personal and family debt. Right now, we do not have any cushion left to absorb even our normal monthly bills. At the moment, we are trying to cover a $610 electric bill, upcoming rent, and the basic household expenses that keep our home running while we figure out how to stop falling further behind.

I have started doing everything I can to face this head-on instead of hiding from it. I thrift, resell, list on eBay, sell what we have, and cut every expense possible. I am not expecting anyone to erase all of our debt. This fundraiser is about stability and giving my family room to breathe. Your support will help us keep the lights on, keep rent covered, handle essential household expenses, and create enough of a cushion so that every unexpected bill does not become another crisis.
