Hi, I'm Christina and I have been suffering from seizures due to epilepsy for the past two years. Even with medication I am still having seizures and as a result had to resign from my job at Sysco. I have been traveling back and forth to Houston from Laredo to my neurologist and neurosurgeon at UTHealth Neurosciences and now need a hospital stay at their Epilepsy Medical Unit for 3-5 days to determine what type of treatment, surgery and therapy I will need. I am only asking for help for this visit as it is extremely important for my recovery. Any type of donation is appreciated because I am getting worse everyday when I should be recovering. I am a trained chef and cannot cook or shop without assistance, I need help showering and am mainly at bedrest when I used to be active and social. My husband and 13 year old son have been wonderful but I want to be around for my youngest to play and be happy to see me up instead of being concerned when I make a noise. Anything helps. It is a quick deadline because my follow up is November 3rd. Thank you all so much for your help.
