I’ve always tried to provide for my family, but lately things have become overwhelming. My husband and son are often unkind, and I don’t feel safe or supported at home. Even simple things, like using the washer and dryer we bought, are out of reach, and I have to go to a laundromat. My husband keeps the car from me, and I’m left feeling isolated and anxious.

Ten months ago, my mother-in-law passed away, and her loss has made everything even harder. My relationship with her was so special that my own mother became jealous and stopped talking to me. Later, I discovered that my parents had stolen my grandmother’s identity to run a business out of her apartment. These family betrayals have left me feeling even more alone and overwhelmed.

I dream of a fresh start—a safe, quiet home where I can bring my two cats and begin again. I’d love to have a small garden, maybe adopt a dog, and create a peaceful space where I can heal and thrive.
